Kazakhstani Developer BI Group and Murad Buildings Agree on the Next Stage of Their Partnership in Uzbekistan

‘Kazakhstani Developer BI Group and Murad Buildings Agree on the Next Stage of Their Partnership in Uzbekistan — Transfer of NRG Shares to BI Group While Preserving the Company’s Local Identity’. Tashkent, November 13, 2025

This marks another step in BI Group’s long-term strategy in the Uzbek market and reinforces the partners’ mutual respect for each other’s professional paths. NRG will continue to operate under the brand NRG – BI with BI Group’s local management team. Murad Buildings will focus on developing its own unique projects. The transaction amount and terms remain undisclosed.

The model agreed upon by the parties reflects a shared approach to implementing strategic vision based on each company’s strongest competencies. Murad Buildings develops projects with distinctive architectural identity and tailored design solutions. BI Group will assume sole responsibility for NRG’s operational management, focusing on integrated urban environments and infrastructure. This approach accelerates decision-making and strengthens the company’s core capabilities.

For NRG clients, employees, and partners, these changes mean continuity and the preservation of existing commitments. Service standards will be enhanced, while contract terms for current and upcoming projects remain unchanged. BI Group reaffirms its commitment to Uzbek legislation, close cooperation with government institutions and local communities, prioritizing local suppliers, and developing the country’s human capital.

Comment from Aydin Rakhimbaev, CEO and shareholder of BI Group:

“We view Uzbekistan as a partnership where trust is proven through fulfilled commitments. The transfer of NRG’s management to BI Group is not a change of course, but a continuation of the work already started. We deeply respect local traditions and professional culture, and we understand that long-term success is only possible with strong local teams and responsible attention to every neighborhood and every home.”

Comment from Murad Nazarov, founder of Murad Buildings and co-founder of NRG:

“These five years of cooperation have been an invaluable experience. During this time, NRG has delivered several significant and beautiful projects. I believe that under the management of our colleagues at BI Group, NRG will continue to build just as quickly and with the same high quality. We will focus on the development of Murad Buildings, emphasizing unique concepts, modern technologies, and quality — and, above all, loving our clients and partners even more. I sincerely thank everyone for their trust. It inspires us to move forward and create projects that serve people and enhance our cities.”

NRG – BI will expand its activities in Uzbekistan based on the principles of sustainable construction, transparent pricing, and client-oriented service. The company will provide regular updates to customers on construction progress and key project milestones, and will develop training and skills-enhancement programs for local specialists. All communication and decision-making will be carried out in accordance with the country’s urban development policies and in close cooperation with relevant government agencies.
